New Novice Division

"SPECIAL ROOKIE AWARDS" - 

Rookie Top Five (Seniors--endurance and/or competitive divisions) Participants to nominate with the UMECRA secretary and mark ride entries with an "R." One horse-one rider teams to count. Rookie defined as a rider who competed in not more than 2 open events prior to his year as a declared rookie. Must accrue at least 20 points comp. and 40 points endurance to be eligible.

NOVICE COMPETITIVE EVENTS OFFERED AT MANY UMECRA RIDES !

  Are you new to the sport of Distance Riding?  Does 25 Miles seem like a long way to go?  If you’re interested in trying out the sport of Competitive Riding, and you think that 25 miles is an awfully long way to go on your first attempt, here is a listing of the rides that offer Novice Rides of shorter distances.  For your convenience, we’ve listed them in chronological order, by the state in which they’re located.
